Activity Description
Kanha Jeep Safari bookings open 120 days in advance and must be made online through the official Madhya Pradesh Forest Department portal. Visitors can choose from Core zones (Kanha, Kisli, Mukki, Sarhi) or Buffer zones. A full jeep accommodates up to 6 people with driver and guide. Advance booking requires visitor details and valid ID proof (Aadhaar for Indians, passport for foreigners). Safari timings vary by season: mornings (~6:00–11:00 am) and evenings (~3:00–6:00 pm). Booking includes entry permits, guide fee, and vehicle charges. Early booking is highly recommended during peak seasons (Oct–June).

Kanha National Park is best accessed via Jabalpur (160 km), Nagpur (260 km), and Raipur (250 km) by road. The nearest railway stations are Jabalpur, Gondia, and Nagpur. The closest airport is Jabalpur, with regular flights from Delhi and Mumbai. Taxis and buses connect these hubs to Kanha National Park.
