Refund Policy

At MPforestTourism.com, we strive to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience. This Refund Policy explains the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled for tours, safaris, and related services booked through our platform.

1. General Terms

• All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [Insert Email] or through the contact form on our website.

• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

• The processing timeline for refunds may vary from 7–14 business days, depending on banks, payment gateways, or third-party service providers.

• Convenience fees, transaction charges, and applicable taxes are non-refundable.

2. Safari Bookings

• Safari permits are issued by the Forest Department of Madhya Pradesh and are 100% non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-amendable once booked.

• Requests for changes in safari date, zone, or vehicle type cannot be entertained after confirmation.

• If a safari is canceled by the Forest Department (due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or operational issues), we will refund only the safari charges as refunded to us by the authorities.

3. Tour Packages (Hotels, Transport, Guides, etc.)

• Cancellation charges vary depending on the hotel, transport, or third-party partner policies.

• If canceled:

  • 30 days or more before travel → 75% 50% refund (excluding non-refundable components).

  • 15 – 29 days before travel → Up to 50% refund.

  • 15 - 7 days before travel → Up to 25% refund

  • Less than 7 days → No refund

• Any “no-show” or last-minute cancellation will not be eligible for a refund.

4. Force Majeure Events

In case of cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural calamities, pandemics, strikes, political unrest, or government restrictions:

• Refunds will be provided only to the extent possible, based on refunds received from hotels, transporters, or other service providers.

• MPforestTourism.com will not be liable for additional compensation beyond what is recoverable.

5. Partial Refunds

• If a booking includes multiple services (e.g., safari + hotel + transport), and only a part is refundable, we will process a partial refund as applicable.

• Refund amounts will be clearly communicated to the customer.

6. Non-Refundable Components

The following are strictly non-refundable once booked:

• Safari permits.

• Government entrance fees and taxes.

• Any special permits, passes, or activity fees.

• Bank/payment gateway charges.
